Hello! My name is L. Barrett Powell,but you can call me simply, Barrett. I am the creator and founder of L. Barrett Powell International. Starting in my teens, I have been assisting people internationally in improving their lives. I am known for my sharp insight and ability to find and empower a person's excellence. My passion is working with people who seek to move beyond mediocrity and the status quo. My destiny includes being a multi-talented Renaissance woman, architect of change and born to do great things in the service of others. My background is rich with experience in a variety of realms: university lecturer, journalist and writer, Master Certified Coach and minister and spiritual leader, astrologer, artist, musician, humanitarian volunteer and counselor.
On any given day I could be coaching a private individual, teaching a university course, writing an article, designing a mentor training program, officiating for a spiritual ceremony, leading a group travel tour or coaching an expatriate, executive or entrepreneur in any country, or building bridges between languages, races and cultures.

I believe that turning a passion into a service to others is at the core of true happiness and personal fulfillment. I want to investin in you my compassion and ability to inspire people to fulfill their true potential.
I mentor, coach and consult, inspire and uplift my clients. I enjoy steering people to reaching their goals and achieving peace and living a life of excellence.
With gifts as a dynamic and captivating public speaker and natural teacher, I enjoy coaching and consulting whether for groups or individuals. I volunteer as part of the committee leadership for a university international student organization ad have a background working with youth/young adult organizations.

Education and Training
I have degrees in Mass Communication, theology, and French as well as certification as a Master Certified Coach and as a Crisis Counselor. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology and Cultural Encounters. I enjoy languages and cultures; I speak English and French and some Danish; and travel the globe for humanitarian and historical/cultural purposes. Additionally I am in the midst of writing two books.
